Australia’s most comprehensive referral code directory
referralcode.com.au exists to solve a simple but surprisingly persistent problem: referral programs are everywhere, but finding the right code, understanding the terms, and knowing whether an offer is actually worth using is harder than it should be. We built this site to be the single place Australians can go to find a referral program for almost any brand they use — and trust that what they find is accurate.
How it started
referralcode.com.au began as an independent project to bring order to the fragmented world of referral marketing in Australia. Like many people, I found myself constantly searching for a working referral code before signing up for a new service — a bank account, a crypto exchange, a meal kit, an insurance policy — only to land on outdated blog posts, expired codes, or forum threads with no way to tell if the offer still applied.
What started as a personal spreadsheet of codes for programs I used myself grew into something more ambitious: a properly maintained, searchable directory covering hundreds of brands across finance, travel, telecommunications, food delivery, cryptocurrency, insurance, retail, and more. Today, referralcode.com.au is one of the largest referral program directories in Australia, and it continues to grow every week.
What we do
At its core, referralcode.com.au is a directory. We track referral and affiliate programs run by Australian and international brands, and we organise them so that anyone can quickly find:
What a referral program offers, to both the person referring and the person being referred. How to join or find the referral link. Any conditions attached to the offer, such as minimum spend, sign-up requirements, or whether an existing purchase is needed to participate.
We don’t run these programs ourselves, and we’re not affiliated with the brands we list unless explicitly stated. Our role is to be a neutral, well-organised reference point — the place you check before you sign up for something, so you don’t miss out on a benefit you were entitled to all along.
Why breadth matters
Most referral code sites cover a handful of well-known brands — the same banks, the same rideshare apps, the same telcos everyone already knows about. We take a different approach. Our directory spans well over 500 brands and counting, including many niche and lesser-known programs that larger sites simply don’t bother tracking: independent retailers, specialty subscription services, boutique financial products, and emerging platforms.
This breadth is deliberate. A referral program you’ve never heard of can be just as valuable as a famous one, and we believe Australians deserve a resource that reflects the full landscape of what’s actually available, not just the most obvious options.
Our commitment to accuracy
A referral directory is only useful if it’s trustworthy. Referral terms change, programs get discontinued, and offers get updated without notice. We treat keeping this information current as a core part of what we do, not an afterthought, and we welcome corrections from users who spot something that’s changed.
Where we know a program’s conditions — such as whether you need to be an existing customer or make a purchase before you can access your own referral link — we aim to state that clearly, so you’re never caught out partway through signing up.
Our approach going forward
referralcode.com.au is, and will remain, an independent resource. Our priority is giving Australians a reliable, comprehensive, and easy-to-use directory of referral programs — one that keeps expanding as new programs launch and keeps getting more accurate as existing ones evolve.
If you run a referral program and would like it listed, or you’ve noticed information on the site that needs updating, we’d welcome you getting in touch.
